Crib Bumper Pads

So, I don't see a problem with my baby girl using blue, green, and red sheets in her crib. I mean, she's just going to get then yucky anyway. But, I decided that she DEFINITELY needed some girlie bumper pads. So, I made some up. I mis-calculated how much ribbon I was going to need...I was about 10 inches short of the purple for the top binding. But I actually like the green on top, it adds some color. Esi especially likes the green :)
Navi J has gotten his hands stuck in the loops twice already, and they've only been done for 1 day!!

Fabric Letters

My mom gave me this really awesome idea for my house - and it's a SUPER easy crafty to do! It's just fabric sewn onto poster board...in all different fonts and sizes of letters :)

Flannel Fun

Here is a cute Flannel Quilt that i made up of some left-overs that I had in my closet :)This is a close-up of what it looks like...and I like the close-up shot, because it shows the details :) NJ likes to lay on my Flannel blankets because they are "softie"

Swatch Portraits

While searching some crafting sites on-line the other day, I saw these and just HAD to try it out! It's fabric put into a embroidery hoop! It's super easy...the hardest part is trying to decide which fabric to use and which piece of the fabric to show off in the hoop. I have hung these on my wall in my "sewing space" and it makes it a bit more homey and reminds me that that corner of the kitchen is mine :)
