Flag Cake

So, I decided to try my hand at some clever baking! I love to bake, and I'm fairly good at it, but I thought I'd try something fun and different for my daughter's birthday...
Now, to look at the cake from the outside...not so pretty. I ran out of frosting, actually. However, once you cut INTO the cake......
TA DA!!!

Turned out pretty good, I think!

Bread

All 3 of my children are taking their naps/rests at the same time today! That doesn't happen very often...

But, for the first time in a LONG time, I decided to make some of this instead of doing some sewing...... My tummy thinks it's a good choice :)

Another Recipe Book

This is my official second attempt at a cute Recipe Book.I think that I did better on this one because I knew a little bit better what I was doing. The picture's kinda shiny at the bottom because I covered it with tape (kinda like lamination).
This one also has super cute stickers and more recipe cards in it.

This picture is kind of dark, but shows a good side-view of the book.

Recipe Book...Part 2

So, it's finished...just sitting on my counter. I'm not a fan of having things on my counter, but this I can deal with. It turned out better than I thought. I am excited, now I just have to gather some more recipes to make it nice and thick

Recipe Book...Part 1

I decided to make a recipe book for my favorite recipes so that I don't have to look through 5 different cookbooks remembering which one it is in. I am also making a super cute thing to put them on...but for now I'm just proud of my cute recipe cards :)
